Powder ombré brows is a form of cosmetic tattooing that create eyebrows with powdery effect
where the color on the front of the brows is lighter and it gradually gets darker towards the tail. Powder effect is done with shading technique using a cosmetic tattooing machine. What we love about powder brow technique is how customizable and versatile it is; you can go as soft/subtle or as bold as you want. This technique is compatible with ALL skin types!
Both microblading and nano machine hairstroke services are a form of cosmetic tattooing that enhance the appearance of the eyebrows with a hairstroke effect. In the past, ordinarily the hairstrokes were done with microblading technique; this technique manually scratches the skin with a handheld tool which consisted of a row of needles to create fine lines resembling hair. On the other hand, the nano hairstroke technique is a minimally invasive procedure whereby the pigment is deposited into the skin using a cosmetic tattooing machine with a single needle to create realistic brow hair strokes. Currently, we perform the hairstroke effect with the nano machine hairstroke technique because it produces better retention and less trauma to the skin. It provides ALL the advantages of microblading but with less trauma to the skin and more longevity!
The hairstroke technique is most suitable for clients with dry to normal skin and skin with small pores. If you have oily skin, big pores and/or uneven surface, the hairstroke technique is not ideal because the strokes will not maintain their crispiness after healed. Hairstroke effect is usually not recommended for darker skin tones of Fitzpatrick Skin Tone Scale 5 or 6 due to, mainly, when healed there is not much contrast between the hair stroke and skin. BUT not to worry at all if you are not compatible with the hairstroke effect because we can opt for the combo brows or the powder ombre brows which is suitable with any skin type.
The terms microshading and combo brows are used interchangeably. Microshading is a combination of 2 techniques: hairstrokes and shading/powder effect. Typically, the hair strokes alone are not compatible for oily skin, however, by combining the two different techniques we can still have the strokes and the powder effect to help reinforce the shape of the brows. Brows will look more cohesive and last a little longer than if they were to do strokes alone.
As with all of the permanent cosmetic procedures, it is a collaborative effort between the artist and the client to work towards achieving a desired result. A thorough consultation is part of the procedure in which I get to know more about you and your makeup routine. In our
consultation, we will discuss your preference of shape and color. We always emphasize to our
clients that we tend to be conservative with color and the shape in our first session because we can always add on to what we already performed when you come back for your follow up
session in 6 weeks. (It is easier to add on than to take away). With the concept of gradual transition combined with our knowledge and experience of color theory, we will ultimately achieve the desired outcome. We ALWAYS map and sketch out the brows (applies for eyeliner and lip tattoo work also) before any work is performed. We are able to customize the cosmetic work to each individual based on your desired shape and color.
Absolutely, we can lift/remove the ink with saline removal process. Saline tattoo removal is a process by which we penetrate the skin with a saline solution to break up the tattoo pigment and pull it out of the skin. It may require more than one session, depending on the saturation of the work.
Typically, the initial application for brows is about 2 to 2.5 hours long which includes the physical consultation, sketch and the procedure itself.
In order to ensure that the brows heal to your desired taste, a minimum of two treatments are
usually needed (6 weeks apart). The second session is included for any new procedure as it gives us the opportunity to adjust the shape, color and correct any area that possibly faded. Also, the follow up session allows the client to make suggestions for any adjustment(s).
As a precaution to avoid any complication, we do not perform cosmetic tattooing on pregnant women.
To ensure the highest degree of safety, our tools are one time use only. All needles, hand tools, wipes and any other product used during the procedure are disposed after each appointment.
Everyone has different level of pain threshold. We do use topical numbing during the entire process to reduce the level of discomfort.

Permanent Makeup is a process. Right after the application and following the next 7-10 days, the treated area will appear bright, an orange-reddish color (due to inflammation of the skin), dark and sharp. Do not panic, this is all normal ! Scabbing will take place around day 3 or 4 and scabbing is typically completed by day 7-10. After scabbing is completed, you will typically lose about 15-20% in color and the brows will shrink down in size by 10-15%. The ruddiness of the brows will tone down in couple of weeks as skin will continue to be healed and repaired.
